Flying to Dubrovnik Just Got Easier for Digital Nomads

30.08.2026

Getting to and from Dubrovnik is becoming even easier for digital nomads and remote workers.

Dubrovnik Airport is introducing new high-tech security scanners that mean passengers will no longer need to remove laptops, tablets or liquids from their cabin baggage when passing through security.

That’s particularly welcome news for digital nomads, who often travel with laptops and plenty of tech in their hand luggage.

The new C3 EDS CB scanners are designed to make security checks faster, simpler and more comfortable, cutting down on the familiar routine of unpacking your laptop, electronics and liquids into separate trays.

Dubrovnik Airport says it is currently the only airport in Croatia using this advanced technology, with the complete system expected to be operational by early December.

With Dubrovnik already connected by direct flights to dozens of European cities, the upgrade makes travelling to and working from the city that little bit easier.

Laptop in the bag, liquids in the bag – and more time to enjoy Dubrovnik.
