Dubrovnik Ends 2025 with Strong December Tourism Growth

Dubrovnik recorded a strong end to 2025, with tourist arrivals up 8 percent and overnight stays rising 13 percent in December compared with the same month last year, according to official figures.
The city welcomed 22,568 visitors, who generated 50,211 overnight stays, confirming the success of Dubrovnik’s strategy to strengthen year-round tourism while easing pressure during the peak summer season.
Mayor Mato Franković said the results show that Dubrovnik is achieving growth while maintaining clear sustainability goals, thanks to coordinated efforts between the city, tourism sector and transport providers.
Visitors in December came mainly from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside strong numbers from the United States, Germany, France, Slovenia and North Macedonia.
The New Year period delivered even stronger results, with arrivals up 74 percent and overnight stays rising 52 percent, the highest figures recorded in the past eight years. A total of 19 hotels remained open, underlining growing winter demand
