Digital Nomad Ambassadors year starts in Dubrovnik

The Director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Miro Drašković, reflected on the previous activities that the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, in cooperation with the City of Dubrovnik, had undertaken regarding digital nomads and presented the Digital Nomad Pass, which includes tickets to various sights, discounts on numerous services and free public transport for a month. The pass is available for all nomads staying in Dubrovnik for four weeks and can only be purchased at the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. He also emphasized that the goal is to further consolidate Dubrovnik as a Digital Nomad Friendly destination, but also to extend the tourist season.

The project Ambassadors of digital nomads in Dubrovnik was presented by Tanja Polegubić from
Saltwater Nomads and she emphasized the importance of the role of ambassadors of digital nomads, who will gather digital nomads to organize workshops, meetings and conversations during which experiences of working remotely will be shared.
The Deputy Mayor of Dubrovnik, Jelka Tepšić, summarized the previous activities of the City of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board related to the profiling of Dubrovnik as a destination for digital nomads, especially through the organization of several conferences, projects and events at an international level. She emphasized that Croatia was one of the first countries in the world to introduce a visa for digital nomads, and the City of Dubrovnik was the first to start the digital nomads project as a destination promoter.
