Dubrovnik Nominated Among Europe's Most Desirable Cities

Dubrovnik has once again been recognised as one of Europe's top travel destinations after being shortlisted for Most Desirable City in the prestigious 2026 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards.
Organised by the UK's leading independent travel magazine, Wanderlust, the awards are voted for by more than 200,000 travellers, celebrating destinations that offer authentic and memorable experiences.
While long famous for its medieval walls and Adriatic views, Dubrovnik has also become increasingly popular with digital nomads looking to combine remote work with an exceptional lifestyle. Fast internet, year-round cafés, a growing international community and easy access to nature make the city an attractive base long after the summer crowds have gone.
Voting remains open until 27 October, with the winners to be announced on 4 November during World Travel Market London.
The Dubrovnik Tourist Board is encouraging residents, visitors and everyone who loves the city to cast their vote and help Dubrovnik claim another major international tourism award.
The nomination is the latest recognition of Dubrovnik's growing reputation—not only as one of Europe's most beautiful cities but also as an inspiring destination for travellers, remote workers and digital nomads alike.
