Free Open-Air Klapa Concert Coming to Dubrovnik Old City

Digital nomads spending time in Dubrovnik this week will have the chance to experience one of Dalmatia’s most authentic cultural traditions with a free open-air klapa concert in the heart of the Old City.
The concert will take place on Saturday, May 30 at 9 p.m. in front of the iconic Church of St. Blaise as part of Croatia’s Statehood Day celebrations.
Four klapa groups from across Dubrovnik-Neretva County will perform, including Klapa Pulen, Klapa Na kantunu, Klapa Ragusavecchia and Dubrovnik’s own Klapa Kaše.
Klapa is a traditional form of Dalmatian a cappella singing, famous for its powerful harmonies and emotional Mediterranean sound. Deeply connected to coastal life and Croatian heritage, klapa music is protected by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
For digital nomads looking to experience more than just beaches and coworking spaces, the evening offers a perfect opportunity to connect with local culture in one of Dubrovnik’s most atmospheric settings.
Entry is free for all visitors.
