Embrace the Charm of Dubrovnik's Winter Magic: Join Our Free Saturday Morning Tours!
Discover the enchanting Old City of Dubrovnik in a unique way with the 'Winter Saturday Mornings in the City' program, brought to you by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. These specially themed city tours promise an immersive experience into the rich cultural tapestry of Dubrovnik.
Every Saturday at 9:30 am (in English) and 12:30 pm (in Croatian), the expert guides Lidija Begić and Vesna Barišić will lead you on a journey through the historic streets, beginning at the Tourist Information Centre on Pile. Explore the theme of 'Cosmopolitan Dubrovnik' in November, unravelling the city's religious diversity and tolerance over the centuries within its compact 1.06-hectare footprint.
As a special treat, at 11:30 am, gather in front of the Church of St. Blaise to witness a captivating performance by the renowned Linđo Folklore Ensemble, showcasing the vibrancy of Dubrovnik's cultural heritage. Please note that performances are weather-dependent.
During the Dubrovnik Winter Festival (December 2, 2023, to January 6, 2024), these tours will celebrate the theme of 'Dubrovnik Carols,' offering a glimpse into the region's cherished carolling traditions. It is truly a harmonious blend of stories, carol songs, and traditional dance performances in front of the Church of St. Blaise.
In the following months of January, February, and March 2024, our Winter Saturday Morning program continues with rotating themed city tours, including 'St. Blaise - in Honour of a Patron,' 'In the Footsteps of Love from Ancient Times,' and 'The Scent of a Woman.'
Step into the cultural heart of Dubrovnik this winter and let the city reveal its hidden gems with each delightful Saturday morning tour. Join the free Dubrovnik tour for an unforgettable experience as these expert guides showcase the soul of Dubrovnik's history and traditions.
Due to the limited number of participants, registration is required for the mentioned themed city tours. You can register via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at +38520312011, no later than 5:00 pm on Fridays.
