Mystery British TV Series Coming to Dubrovnik – And Digital Nomads Can Join the Cast

A mystery British historical television series is coming to Dubrovnik, and producers are searching for local extras – making it an interesting opportunity for digital nomads and international residents to experience life behind the scenes of a major international production.

Embassy Films Croatia is looking for men and women aged 18 to 70, with filming scheduled in Dubrovnik from October 8 to 15.

Exactly what is being filmed remains a mystery.

Embassy Films was the Croatian production partner behind HBO’s Game of Thrones, when Dubrovnik famously became King’s Landing, and has worked with major international names including the BBC, Netflix, Amazon and Paramount.

Producers are looking for people with a suitably historical appearance. Women should have longer, naturally coloured hair without extensions, while men should have classic hairstyles. Natural-looking beards are also welcome.

For digital nomads spending October in Dubrovnik, it could be a rather different way to take a break from remote working – and become part of an international television production at the same time.

After all, how often can you close the laptop in Dubrovnik and open your next working day on a film set?

The name of the series remains under wraps, but filming runs from October 8 to 15.

And perhaps hold off on that modern haircut for another couple of weeks.
