Shellfish Extravaganza: Ston Oyster Day Returns to Celebrate Pelješac's Culinary Heritage with Charity and Tradition

The Ston Tourist Board has unveiled its much-anticipated spring extravaganza, a beloved event that continues to draw food enthusiasts year after year, all while championing a noble cause.

Scheduled for March 16, 2024, the renowned Oyster Day promises an unforgettable experience starting at 11 am along the scenic promenades of Mali Ston and Brijesta. Attendees can indulge in oyster tastings aboard boats and at shellfish farms, complemented by exquisite Pelješac wines. The event will be accompanied by the melodic tunes of Dalmatian songs and captivating performances by local cultural groups such as Glazba Ston and the folk ensemble Poloneza. Beyond the gastronomic delights, visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in Pelješac's rich traditions, as highlighted by the Ston Tourist Board. Adding a philanthropic touch, the League Against Cancer and the Children of Pelješac Associations will showcase their products for charitable causes, while various culinary delights from Pelješac will be available at eateries in Ston, Mali Ston, Kobaš, Broce, and Hodilje.
